Well, yes and no. As we announced on the podcast last week, since I’m moving back to the KC metro area in the coming weeks, you won’t hear a lot out of us… well, Jaye will likely still regale you with tales of douchebags, but that’s really about it. We’ll hit it hard again once I’m back in KC full time. Of course, always fun stuff in the works, so stay tuned.
Watch the glorious live interview with Jeff and I on KC Anthem, a regular live internet television program! We’re impressed that Jordan’s able to run the equipment by himself AND interview people at the same time. Not bad.
We’d like to thank all of our listeners, viewers, fans, critics, and visitors for checking out our stuff and giving us a chance. You guys kick ass and keep us on our toes. As always, if there are any suggestions, comments, or questions – or if you just want to call us assholes – E-mail us or leave a message in any of the variety of ways you can do so.
We here at the KCB loves us some lowbrow humor (as anyone who’s listened to the past few podcasts can attest to) so in addition to Cpt Logn’s Superhero Rewind and Tim’s Spectacular Moments and Fuck This Asshole videos, I, Jaye, have come up with more videos for your aural pleasure –
Hate Mail Theater.
Already have a few ideas filmed and in production, but if you have any comments or suggestions, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org
No podcast this week – Jeff and I were out of town doing some video stuff this past weekend when we would normally record it. That said, next week we begin Obscene Science month. The first podcast topic will be time travel – we will discuss pop culture representations, how they fit in with scientific theory, and what seems the most plausible. We also have some kick-ass videos planned for you as well, so stay tuned!
Now I’m not the first person to take note at the most recent of Charlie Sheen’s many antics, though I will say I’ve been 100% behind the Charlie Sheen enterprise for as far as I can remember, regardless of the adorable little scuffles and antics he always ends up in. I only mention it ’cause sometimes there’s a man, I won’t say a hero, ’cause what’s a hero, but sometimes there’s a man, and I’m talking about Charlie Sheen here, sometimes there’s a man, well, he’s The Man for that time and place. He fits there. And that’s Charlie Sheen.
As you may have noticed, there was no podcast this week… so instead, listen to Jeff and I make a guest-hosting appearance (in other words we more or less take over their show…) on That One Crazy Show (http://www.thatonecrazyshow.com) – also, Stone Cold Val (from the forums) calls in and plays Buzzwords with us. Check it out! Just press that little “play” button there, sit back, and relax. Also, later in the show we get an interview and some of our tunes are played, including “The Job” (from “Songs That Didn’t Make It Out Alive”)!
We just released an album.
I know, right? We’re musicians? When did this happen?!?
Anyway, check out this promo video we threw together for it, and be sure to click on the links below to buy this!
Buy it on eMusic (yep, whip out those free music download cards you get in every set of crappy headphones, kids!)
Or of course search for it on iTunes or whatever music service you like to use. It’s not up on ALL of the possible digital music services yet, but that’s just because they take varying amounts of time to post new stuff.
This town hates people when it comes to snow removal. Thus, since Jeff can’t safely make it over here to do podcasting, we won’t have a podcast this week. That’s alright, though, be sure to catch me on That One Crazy Show this Thursday toward the end of their 7-9pm CST block. Also we’re working on *gasp* – music. “Alcoholic Superman” coming soon to iTunes and other services. Anyway, we feel shitty about the lack of podcasting since this isn’t a planned outage, but it is what it is – a good bastard is not a dead bastard.
It is now 1-1-11, and since that means the world is set to self-destruct, we figured we would get the obligatory New Year’s post out of the way. Something that’s amused me lately are the keywords that apparently lead back to this site, so here’s some of the oddest search strings we’ve had this past year, as per the stats on our server’s control panel: (continue reading…)
